City break - Prague
1st Day – afternoon arrival to Prague
2nd Day – sightseeing
Prague, called the Golden City on the Vltava, has been attracting people from all over the world for centuries. During the time of Charles IV, Prague became one of the most important cities in Europe as a political and spiritual center. In 1992, the historical center of Prague was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is a real mix of open-sea museum, metropolitan atmosphere and entertainment.
We suggest to see: the Castle and the Old Town Square with the Town Hall and the Astronomical Clock, Paris Street, the Jewish Quarter, Wenceslas Square and Charles Bridge from where there are wonderful views of Prague’s district “Mala Strana”. In this district there is the baroque Church of St. Nicholas and many noble palaces and tenement houses. The second part of the day can be dedicated to Hradcany, Prague’s most famous Castle Hill with the Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert, the Wladyslaw Hall, St. George’s Basilica and the Golden Street with the Dalibor Tower and Strahov & Loretta Monastery. From Petrina Hill there is a wonderful view of the whole Prague’s panorama. In the evening visit the Black Theater or get acquainted with the culinary diversity of the city.
