Pilgrimage Krakow - Czestochowa - Wroclaw

Day 1– arrival

Day 2 – Krakow – Łagiewniki
Visiting the city of Krakow i.a. Wawel Cathedral, Royal Tombs, Chapel of St. Leonard, the place of the first mass of Karol Wojtyła, St. Mary’s Church with the famous altar by Veit Stoss. In the afternoon: transfer to Krakow’s Łagiewniki – a visit to the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy, a place connected with the life of St. Sister Faustina – author of the famous “Diary”. Her beatification and canonization was carried out by St. John Paul II.

Day 3 – Krakow- Wadowice- Kalwaria Zebrzydowska- Krakow
Wadowice – visit to the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, where Karol Wojtyla was baptized in the local baptismal font, a visit to the John Paul II Museum. After a break for the famous Wadowice cream cake, we go to the first calvary in Poland Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. Visitation of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels and time to pray in front of the image of Our Lady of Calvary, famous for its graces.

Day 4 – Krakow- Czestochowa
In Częstochowa, we will visit the most important Polish Sanctuary at Jasna Góra, which was visited many times by John Paul II, both in the Krakow and Vatican periods. An opportunity to pray in front of the miraculous image of the Black Madonna.

Day 5 – Czestochowa – Wroclaw On the way to Wroclaw, an opportunity to visit St. Anne’s Mountain, today called the “Mountain of Reconciliation”. For centuries it has been a place of pilgrimage for the inhabitants of Upper Silesia. Bardo Śląskie – known as the “City of Miracles”. In the Basilica of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary there is a famous statue of Our Lady of Bardo– Guardian of the Holy Faith. Halfway to the top of Calvary there is the so-called “Mary’s Well” with water recognized as miraculous for over 300 years.

Day 6 – Wroclaw- Trzebnica- Wroclaw Wrocław – visiting the city in the footsteps of the most important Marian sanctuaries i.a. visiting the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace – Patroness and
Guardian of Marriages and Families; Sanctuary of Adoration of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Wrocław Archcathedral; Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Consolation from Hodowica- patroness of young couples. In the afternoon: a trip to Trzebnica, to the International Sanctuary of St. Hedwig of Silesia – the oldest sanctuary in Silesia and one of the most important necropolises of the Silesian Piasts.
