City break - Cracow
1st Day – afternoon arrival to Cracow
2nd Day – sightseeing Cracow is the town with architecture dating back many centuries. We suggest to see: the Main Market Square is one of the largest squares in Europe; Wawel Royal Castle – the residence of Polish Kings, with one of the most important Cathedral in Poland; numerous monuments, countless cafes and restaurants make the city very popular. The Market Square is surrounded by a green belt.
3rd Day – trip to: Wieliczka Salt Mine (19 km) or visiting the Jewish part of Krakow – Kazimierz. A trip to the Wieliczka Salt Mine – one of the oldest (13th century), still operating salt mine in the world. The tour starts at an altitude of 65 meters. The air is dry and surprisingly warm 17-18°C. Miners have forged countless “good spirits” out of salt to ensure their comfort in the dark. The most impressive is the Chapel of St. Kinga, masterfully decorated walls salt sculptures. Kazimierz – the Jewish part of Krakow. The old Jewish quarter „lives” around the clock. It attracts like a magnet with its unique atmosphere, street paintings, hipster bars, laughing regulars.
